FAQ
Do you travel?
I love destination family shoots equally as much as local sessions. Fortunately, because of my clients trust over the last few years I have bee able to travel as far as France, Italy, and all over the US for family sessions. As much as I also appreciate a good vacation, I do consider destination family sessions work. So when families ask if I will shoot for a "free vacation", I must decline because my time away from my family and other opportunities to work is very important. When inquiring about your destination wedding I will gladly join you at an additional and fair cost for my time and expertise.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
You can most definitely extend your session time or add on an additional location as long as time allows. As photographers we sometimes book multiple sessions back to back. Another factor could be the light. I always plan my sessions around golden hour and want you to have the best light possible for your shoot. If you are planning on booking a longer session at various locations be sure to request that when booking.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You never have to order prints through me, however I do highly recommend you do. The printing lab I use that is connected to your gallery is of the highest quality and also holds the color profiles as my camera. Many places like CVS, Kodak, Shutterfly and etc often come out pixellated or discolored.
What if I need additional edits?
My professional editing service includes exposure adjustments, smoothing, toning, and cropping. Additional edits can be made with an additional fee. Such edits requiring additional retouching include: blemish removal, liquifying body parts, glare / object removal, or head swaps. These edits take sometimes hours to complete. If I am unable to fulfill your requests I am happy to send to my higher end editor for an additional fee.
Will you have an assistant for our newborn session?
Due to the nature of lifestyle sessions I often do not bring an assistant with me. I have on occasion brought an assistant when I book a "twin" session. However, my style is much less posed and more about the candids. This allows for me to capture babies with parents and individually.

Do you have insurance and safety training?
I absolutely do have full liability insurance. I have previously been trained in CPR. I also have taken online courses for how to hold a newborn safely without compromising their breathing or overheating them. It's important to hire a photographer who is well-versed in safety and the handling of your precious child.
